In a study on health and lean males, subjects were injected subcutaneously with GHRP-2 and instructed to eat at a buffet. Most non-placebo subjects were observed to have eaten substantially more than usual. Higher levels of human growth hormone were also found in those injected with GHRP-2.[1] Another study observed the effects of GHRP-2 on swine.
